Description:
On offer is a single strand of mixed, colorful powdered glass beads from the Krobo people of Ghana. The beads are crafted by pulverizing pieces of glass into a fine powder, which is then poured into molds formed of clay. The filled molds are fired in kilns or hot ovens, whereupon the powdered glass fuses. Typically, the handcrafted beads will exhibit minor imperfections, including signs of age & wear. Overall condition of these vintage beads is good. The strand could be worn as is, or the beads can be used individually for jewelry-making projects, etc.
